Young toddlers
16 months - 2 years
This room is designed to support their rapidly developing skills
and physical abilities. The room is light, bright and stimulating.
The children have a broad choice of toys and resources to help
keep them happy and busy throughout the day. A wide range of activities
includes messy play, sand and water play, singing and dance, ballpool,
story etc.

Toddlers
2 - 3 years
The emphasis on this room is on learning through play. The room is
set up with easy access to messy play, home corner, story area, mark
making area etc. The children also have access to educational toys,
construction toys, jigsaws and games appropriate for their age group.

From the babies to the Toddlers the staff record each child's
day on a Daily Diary sheet, which you will be given at the end
of your child's day. This includes details of feeds, drinks, sleep
times and any other information. For children in nappies or toilet
training there is also a section with the daily relevant details
in. Weather permitting they go outside and have access to a whole
range of outdoor toys and equipment
